Text in English: Front: {Our village quarter. You did not write whether he is there, soon his leave will be over. Keep the remaining cards, first I will see what to do with these. Now, best regards to all, from your Gustav} Back: {Military services postcard - Mrs. Master Painter Klemp Podgrz near Toru?, Market street 11. Russia, May 14, 1915. Dear Marta! I received your packages yesterday and I thank you very much. The package with the cigars has not yet arrived, I hope it has not gotten stuck somewhere. These cards are nothing special, but in order to get mailed I am using it now. The cards you sent me are nothing special. I may send the plates to the photographer and order cards. Everyone wants one and so many I cannot produce. I wait every day that I can get leave but the permit has not arrived. Otherwise, everything is fine. The cake tasted good, only the bacon is too dry and can only be used it for frying potatoes. How about Julek.}

The seated man with the medic armband is likely Klemp.
