Attached: "S/231099 COPYRIGHT COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC INFORMATION, FROM UNDERWOOD & UNDERWOOD, N.Y. RELEASED NOV.15-1917." LIBERTY BOYS IN FRANCE BEING TAUGHT USE OF LIQUID FIRE. The Liberty Boys in France are being put through every phase of modern warefare. The photo shows the troops being instucted by the Poilus in the use of the liquid fire apparatus. In the photo the men are seeking to rout the enemy from protected positions in the woods on left. The trees and bushes have already caught fire and are seen blazing and the dense fumes that go with the liquid fire are enveloping the surrounding country. The American troops are getting extensive instruction in modern war methods and they are efficient soldiers when they get as far as the trenches. RELEASED NOV. 15TH. 11/12/17."
