These two young ladies, Misses Ruth and Eleanor Smith of the Columbus Athletic Club, Columbus, Ohio, are rival candidates for the short distance swimming championships in the state of Ohio. They have shown remarkable speed in trials and have proven themselves to be wonderful sprint swimmers. The race between sisters will be sensational. 2/8/18
