Attached: "169343 F.C. COPYRIGHT UNDERWOOD & UNDERWOOD, N.Y. FUSING STOKES TRENCH MORTER SHEWS BEFORE MOVING INTO FRONT LINES. Tommies busy putting fuses on Stokes Morter shells a short distance behind the lines, just before going to the front. The Tommies are kept busy at this job while the fighting is not up to the regular gait. The shells are kept in these satchel like boxes. British Official photo. 8/1/18."
