Attached: "169043 F.C. COPYRIGHT UNDERWOOD & UNDERWOOD, N.Y. HEAVY BRITISH GUN IN ACTION ON OPEN MESOPOTAMIA DESERT. A heavy British gun just as it was fired on the open Mesopotamia desert where the British are engaged in a successful drive. The warfare here is entirely different from the fighting on the Western Front. The gun is in the open. Most of the fighting is done in the same way, no trenches here. British Official photo. 2/20/18."
