Description:
Attached: "169385F.C. COPYRIGHT UNDERWOOD & UNDERWOOD, N.Y. THESE TOMMIES HOME NOT ALL IT SHOULD BE, BUT THEY'RE HAPPY ANY WAY. The wind may blow through the walls of this shattered home on the Western front, but the Tommies who make their residence there are not a bit unhappy. The entire section has been wiped out in a bombardment. The wells of the structure were battered down and the roof fell in the position shown forming a shelter for the Tommies. British Official photo."
